Siyakha’s Social Impact team are busy at work fundraising for the social enterprises that we support, as we move towards year-end when people in need desperately rely on your participation, to provide for the people in their care. This week’s priority is Hotel Hope.

Objective

Help us to support organisations that uplift underserved communities through impact spend that is backed by our priority for impact measurement and traceability.

2000 children are abandoned or orphaned every year in South Africa. Play your part in helping them to receive the best chance of success in life.

Hotel Hope is a Johannesburg-based non-profit dedicated to providing a loving home for orphaned and abandoned children. This incredible organisation manages five children’s homes focusing on the mental and physical health of the children in their care including quality education for each child.

40% of their income is derived from their social enterprise activities that create employment for people in the area through reupholstery and other skills programmes that provide retail income and formal employment in the area.

Key Challenges

Hotel Hope is in desperate need of assistance with financial donations, volunteer support or contribution to their social enterprise to continue their life-changing work. You can:
