“A Conversation with young Entrepreneur Farai Munjoma”

One of the most debated questions in the world of entrepreneurship is, are entrepreneurs born or made?

Farai Munjoma, the Founder and CEO of Shasha Network, began his journey as an entrepreneur at the age of 12 years old when his mother gave him the task of selling chickens at the local market.

His father had lost his job in the wake of Zimbabwe’s economic collapse and his mother had become the sole breadwinner for the extended family. Having told Farai that her civil servant salary wasn’t enough to cover his school fees, she sent him on a mission to make up the shortfall. That gave Farai the entrepreneurial spark and by the time he was 18 he launched his own e-learning social enterprise, Shasha Network,  a digital learning company providing young people access to education.

He worked on digitising curriculum notes and sample exam papers for students to access for free. Now he’s in his early twenties and is taking a Masters in Entrepreneurship at the University of Edinburgh in the UK.

Join Farai in conversation as he shares his journey to becoming an entrepreneur and hear his top tips on how you can grow your business too.
